about

John says, "I was looking for a bass player for a new band to play my songs in. Tom called me up. He played me the basic riff of this song twice. Then I asked him to play it again. I got very excited and said can you get over here right now? Just the way he played it I knew he was gonna be the bass player for this band!"

lyrics

Pretty Rain

In the pretty pretty rain. Well I love my baby. In the pretty pretty rain. I walk alone tonight. I get so tired. That I walk into walls. With my head hanging down. And my eyes straight ahead. And my mind is on you. On you. You. On you. On you. You. I wait down the street. To get the last bus home. I will walk up to your house. I want the door to be unlocked. I want the red light on. As you wait for me. For me. Me. Oh, for me. For me. Me. In the pretty pretty rain. Well I love my baby. In the pretty pretty rain. Well I walk alone tonight. I will never change. The way I feel for you. No matter what I try to do. No matter what you say to me. It will always be you and me. You and me. You and me. It will always be you and me. You and me. You and me. Oh… Ow!
